As an explorer, educator, author, producer, storyteller, and public speaker Dan co-produced an Emmy Award winning documentary. It is thanks to Dan Buettner and a team of colleagues that the Blue Zones were discovered and documented. In the span of about eight years research was conducted that resulted in five pockets around the world being exhibited for their outstanding longevity.
